IRS Seeks 403(b) Plan Sponsors’ Take on Compliance

The IRS’ Advisory Committee on Tax Exempt and Government Entities is seeking input from 403(b) plan sponsors, vendors and providers on compliance problems. The committee’s Employee Plans subgroup has set up an online survey to collect comments regarding:

  • the problems sponsors, vendors and providers face in administering 403(b) programs; and
  • what steps or actions they think the IRS could take to help facilitate the compliance process.

The committee says that responses are anonymous and that it will not send responses to the IRS. The survey is available here.
