Have you ever been elbow-to-elbow with the energy and free-flowing successful solutions of the very best in our industry? For the first time ever, yes, you can be! NTSA brings you the inaugural NTSA Elite Advisors Awards on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 2:15 p.m., right after the lively “State of the Industry” address by NTSA Executive Director Chris DeGrassi. Be there in the heart of our nation's capital — the place to make a difference and to “Keep Choice Alive!” at the NTSA 403(b) Summit.

On Monday, June 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., you get at least 40 specific sales ideas, any one of which will get you at least one new client — or an upgraded relationship — that will pay for your attendance, right then and there, starting even before you get back to your home base. Each Elite Advisor “Tips and Techniques” session offers different workable solutions in an interactive, conversational format. Where else can you get this intensity that makes a difference?

Questions the Elite Advisors address in the two totally different sessions are:

  • What have you done to elevate yourself above the competition — to stay a step ahead?
  • If you were a brand-new advisor in today’s market, what are some things you would do to establish yourself in the market?
  • How much time do you spend servicing vs. selling now?
  • What have you used to improve your practice? Pick one: technology, law changes, investment strategies, advocacy.
  • What is your plan to maintain and grow your NTSA Elite Advisor status for the next 2-5 years?
Get ready for your conversations with great, qualified leader-advisors.

NTSA’s 2014 Elite Advisors Awards recognize the very best advisors, as nominated by their peers. The award focuses on advisor best practices for leadership, practice management, advocacy and legacy within the 403(b) and/or 457 retirement industry. These Elite Advisors help individual plan participants accumulate assets for retirement, understanding their goals, educating them on options and potential results, while  delivering and monitoring the full range of allowable investment products from securities to insurance, and working with the other qualified partners that make this a total package, the attorneys, accountants and plan administrators.

As an annual member recognition program, the NTSA 2014 Elite Advisors Award is established by advisors for advisors and for the industry — to honor advisors who have helped shape best practices in serving clients in the 403(b) and/or 457 retirement industry. To acknowledge their specific accomplishments and/or contributions, NTSA recognizes these true leaders and shakers.

Nominators for the Elite Advisor Award are the NTSA Strategic Partners and NTSA members. Any individual active as a financial advisor of 403(b) and/or 457 plans, who fulfills certain specific criteria can be nominated. 2014 criteria include:

  • NTSA Advisor Member for two or more years, counting 2014
  • 5 or more years as an advisor servicing 403(b) and/or 457 retirement plans
  • $25 million or more in retirement assets, namely 403(b), 457 and IRAs
  • Advisor licensed for Securities and Insurance
  • Advisor in good standing with FINRA and SEC
In addition, advisors submit reflections on a simple series of qualitative questions concerning their involvement in advocacy, leadership, practice management and legacy, to evidence their accomplishments and contributions.

Make a difference. Keep choice alive by making a difference for you, for your clients, and for all their relations. NTSA is your partner for success. See you in D.C., June 22-24!
