Candid Culture: How to Take (and Give) Constructive Feedback

Shari Harley brought her “Candid Culture” leadership style to the 2015 NTSA 403(b) Summit in Nashville, discussing ways that advisors can give and receive criticism openly and respectfully, while improving relationships with their clients. Now, she’s sharing those best practices on NTSA Net, as the latest guest on the NTSA Podcast.

In the fifth installment of the podcast series, NTSA Web Content Manager Mike Bushnell talks to Harley about how her method of establishing regular, open lines of communication and feedback between advisors and clients will improve the investment experience for both participants. Harley also discusses how advisors can best handle criticism and disapproval, no matter how harsh or upsetting it might be to initially hear it.

Listeners to this podcast will come away with practical tools they can use to improve their future interactions, not just professionally, but in their personal lives as well.
