Tamara Indianer Honored With 2024 Bob D. Schiller Award - NTSA Summit

At the 2024 NTSA Summit on Monday, the organization honored Tamara Indianer with the 2024 Bob D. Schiller Award for her nearly three decades of dedication to financial planning, with a particular focus on the retirement sector. Indianer, who has dedicated 24 years to Lincoln Investment, is currently Vice President and Head of Retirement Marketplace.

"Tamara is a pure example of the greatness that exists in this industry," Nathan Glassey, Executive Director, said of Indianer. "She has always excelled at every position she has ever held in this industry and continues to serve, educate, and mentor everyone she interacts with."

Indianer has been active in industry leadership roles, including serving as a Board Member of the American Retirement Association (ARA) and actively participating in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. Her contributions to the NTSA stand out, especially her tenure as a Past President and her influential roles on the Leadership and Management Committees. Her commitment to the industry shines through her efforts to co-chair the NTSA Summit and engage in the Membership Engagement Committee.

Indianer has earned recognition for establishing the New England Retirement Education Group (NEREG), a pioneering initiative that unites competing financial firms to provide unbiased educational resources to the K-12 market. Her advocacy efforts, notably her testimony before Massachusetts legislative committees and her push for national retirement-related legislation, highlight her dedication to shaping policy to improve retirement planning.

Indianer's expertise and commitment to financial education are evident in her frequent speaking engagements at various associations and her active participation in discussions on the 403(b) marketplace and regulations.

"The NTSA and our industry are forever grateful for being able to have her in our lives," Glassey stated.
